One More Trip into Bush Land

Okay. Did they actually believe they would be immune from the law? The branches of government were specifically established the way they were so the Executive branch could be held in check by the Legislative branch. You can't ignore 200 plus years of legal history and the very setup of the government because you feel like it. Seriously. The whole point of a subpoena is to force those who do not wish to testify to do so. If that can extend to ALL United States citizens and even some non-citizens, what makes you special because of the job you hold. Obviously, Congress is not going to reveal state secrets, but they do want information that would reveal any wrong doing, probably by the people forced to testify. Does anyone honestly believe whatever happened with the firings was completely legal and above board?

Welcome to Bush Land. Stay 172 more days.
